The aggregate economic cost of this parking and congestion crisis β in fuel waste, driver time loss, logistics delays, and business activity suppression β is estimated by Foraminifera at NGN 284.6β368.4 billion per year across the five cities.

A structured programme of multi-storey car park (MSCP) development, smart parking management systems, and traffic management investment across the five cities β totalling approximately NGN 42β68 billion in capital investment over 5 years β would generate estimated annual revenues of NGN 18β28 billion from parking charges and ancillary revenues, with internal rates of return of 18β28% for well-structured Public-Private Partnership (PPP) investments.
